Christ Central will be hosting VBS this summer on June 10-13th (Wed-Sat)! We are looking forward to having a fun and safe VBS experience for our children preschool (2 years old) to 5th grade (2025/2026 school year). Yes, we are accepting our precious 2 yo this summer! Our VBS will be an in-person program only. All safety measures will remain in place, according to our church’s guidelines and recommendations. We hope you can join us!

Conflict is unavoidable in marriage, but why do we keep getting stuck in the same cycles of defensiveness, avoidance, and other forms of reactivity? Conflict is not necessarily bad. In fact, it can provide a pathway to a deeper connection with our partner, but why is it SO hard to find an alternative pattern in our conflicts? What makes repair so challenging, especially when emotions are heightened? In this workshop, our goal is to identify ways to understand the anatomy of conflict, identify your conflict pattern, use a step-by-step guide to reset/de-escalate your own emotions, and practice actionable items towards togetherness and teamwork. We will be borrowing from various therapy modalities, but primarily focus on the Restoration framework to guide us through a better and more responsible way to reconnect through conflict.
Small Group season is upon us! We want everyone at Christ Central to be in community and join a small group near you. We believe that every believer is called to “Discipleship” to Christ and so we will have “discussion groups” and “study groups”. Discussion groups will review the sermon with discussion questions, share in prayer and fellowship. Study groups will be studying a book together, share in prayer and fellowship. As you've heard from Pastor Harold in his covid update video, there is a great need for more volunteers for our in-person worship services. If you are able and willing to attend Sunday worship, please consider joining a volunteer team. There are many ways you can serve at Christ Central, but the greatest needs are in the Church Operations Team (COT) and education ministries (nursery, preschool, elementary, youth group).
