COVID-19 UPDATE
August 14, 2021
Dear CCSC,
In follow up to the recent announcement of an exposure to COVID-19 during a Sunday service two weeks ago, I wanted to update you that, much to our relief, there were no known cases of transmission. The church leadership is very keenly observing the situation with the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, and how health agencies, government authorities and schools are responding to it.
We remain truly thankful for the cooperation of our church community that continues to support the leadership and is adhering to the guidance of mitigating this virus, by observing hand hygiene, masking and social distancing. We also request that if you do test positive and attended one of CCSC’s services that you contact the church at office@christcentralsc.com. Your privacy will be honored.
Many have asked how CCSC is planning to respond to this most recent surge. Your concerns are also our concerns. Although we cannot just yet predict how this fourth surge will affect CCSC, we will continue to inform and advise you once there is greater clarity. Balancing the health of our congregants and staff and the spiritual need to meet in person, while being responsible members of this greater society, is not an easy one. We are praying for wisdom. Please join our leadership in fastidiously praying for the health of the church and wisdom in leadership, while we honor our Father in all that we do.
Grace be with you all,
Elder Eric H. Choi
Chair, CCSC COVID Strategic Team
